Shrimp shack islamorada originally opened its doors for business in December 2011, it was owned and operated by a single-family. Since then, we’ve established ourselves as a must-visit place for Islamorada residents in quest of delectable cuisine. Developed by Alice and Morgan, a mother and daughter pair who wanted to share the recipes from their family with you, this cookbook was published in 2012. Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives featured us in the spring of 2016 after Guy Fieri discovered us in December 2015. Guy thoroughly enjoyed our shrimp cake and the “Senator’ style” local fish that we prepared for him.

Shrimp Shack in Islamorada, Florida:
Tourists looking for a traditional fish shack in the Florida Keys will find what they’re looking for at Islamorada Shrimp Shack. It’s the kind of place that feels like it’s been there forever, even though it only opened in 2011 and was featured in an episode of “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.” I can’t help but feel drawn to the divey atmosphere.
Excellent service and delicious food:
For the first time in my journeys to Islamorada, I dined at this establishment. I was pleasantly taken aback. There is no outdoor seating, and the atmosphere is similar to a “Supper Club.”
Excellent menu options include:
The food was delicious! We did order takeout, and I believe I would have given a higher rating if we had eaten in. My fries were mushy and cold when I got them. The dessert did not fare well on the journey. However, the phone service was excellent, the food was delivered on time, and I like their special seasoning/batter-fried shrimp.
Excellent customer service! To obtain the onion rings, go to:
We came here a year ago and were treated like royalty, and this year has been no different from the previous year. The proprietor was the one who greeted us on both occasions and provided us with excellent service. We overheard her congratulating her colleagues for their contributions to the project. It comes highly recommended by me!
The shrimp, smashed between the two hoagie buns, was delicious. The crab meat was tender like the shrimp and sliced thinly to match. But the secret sauce was the real star of the poor boy. Skrimp Shack’s food is made from scratch and comes in spicy or mild flavours.
On Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, does Guy have to pay for his meals?
People often think restaurant owners have to pay to be on the popular culinary show, and this belief is widespread among viewers.
In Islamorada Shrimp Shack, what did Guy chow down on?
Guy brought a newly caught mangrove fish directly from the boat to her kitchen, and Chef Jahn gave him veggie-laced shrimp cakes with a spicy remoulade sauce.
What is the negative key to the deal?
He declared this Florida Keys native the “genuine deal.”
